What's This?



The site consists of an archive of write-ups from previous games and an ongoing campaign played in Old School Essentials Advanced Fantasy which started in early 2023. The
RPG Files Blog documents the uploads of the earlier adventures as I assemble and edit them from my original notes.

The Dungeons & Dragons sessions date from 1998. Since it's now 2024 I hope this might be entertaining for the players of the various brave adventurers who stepped out of the gates of Greyhawk City all those years ago. The game was mostly Advanced Dungeons and Dragons 2nd Edition (AD&D 2e) and as far as I remember we all had a pretty good time. Let's see if you agree…

The first adventure was
Clarshh's Sepulchre
Written by Willie Walsh and published in Dungeon magazine 53.

Session 1 of Clarshh was in March 1998 and began in Greyhawk City.
I hadn't run a D&D game in years at this point and certainly hadn't DM'ed AD&D 2e before so I opted for a search for a hidden tomb in the hope that it wouldn't get too complicated. I have edited the text a little to tidy it up but left the mixed up tenses and nervous prose style since (I like to think) it gradually got better with practice.
